Black Whiskey is a unique Peruvian whiskey made from purple corn and national wheat, along with pure water. After being double-distilled in a traditional copper alembic, it is matured to perfection in first-use American white oak barrels.
Black Whiskey has a bright and clean caramel amber color with intense tears. It has a toasted corn aroma with hints of vanilla and smokiness, followed by dried fruit notes of chestnuts, raisins, and dried apricots, and finishes with flavors of coconut, bitter chocolate, coffee, and caramel. It is intense on the palate with a strong alcoholic sensation on the first sip, but becomes much smoother and balanced on the second sip with a drop of water. It has a unique personality with a bitter touch and delicate acidity.
