PERUVIAN DOUGHNUT MIX
INGREDIENTS Wheat flour, sweet potato flour, pumpkin flour, corn starch, salt, yeast, cloves, cinnamon, anise.
PREPARATION
1. Pour envelope content in a small bowl, add ¾ cup of water, mix well till everything is homogeneous. Beat for 1 minute and let it rest for 30 more minutes.
2. Heat 1 ½ cups of oil in a small deep pan.
3. Place the mix in the pastry bag, you will find incide the box, pipe to form the picarones.
4. Form circle (like a doughnut) inside the hot oil no larger than 3'' in diameter. Deep fry to golden brown, serve with the delicious Provenzal Syrup.
Note: To obtein excellent results, do not excede the amount of recomended water.
